Built within one of South Africa's most prestigious wilderness reserves, this project delivered a luxury lodge complex of curved buildings positioned precisely across a mountain site to achieve a specific architectural vision.
The remote location and rugged terrain presented significant logistical challenges, including the excavation of boulders matching the size of 20-ton excavators, which required T Construction to acquire its first mobile all-terrain concrete mixer to navigate the landscape without expanding the construction footprint. Strict wildlife safety protocols were maintained throughout, with the team working alongside roaming lions, rhinos, and other wildlife in the reserve.
